The Butterfly Effect
What if an object could ground you as you hold it?
What if an object had the ability to shift your consciousness into the now,
like a stolen Zen moment
in the everyday race against time & doing versus being & experiencing?
What if that very object connected you to the cosmos and all that is invisible/ethereal,
such as the elements, time, energy, frequency, presence and the mystical?
What if this same object raised the frequency of its surroundings and everything that came in contact with it, including you?
We don't do perfect!
This obsession with perfection has got to stop!
It is bad for business and especially bad for the environment!
The imperfections are proof that your pieces are unique and man-made - no other piece will have that same exact trait of character!
If you love Humble Ceramics, you embrace the possible flaws and imperfections!
We are streamlining and are reducing our inventory so that we may become more efficient ...
please assume we are no longer making an item unless
you are buying from the Stillness Collection or FS Collection in Greystone/Snow White ...
Designer Bowls and Alder tumblers.
We assume the right to change at any time ...
we are a work in progress and will pivot as needed based on our current realities.
Thank you for being part of our journey

HOSPITALITY ?? Let's talks
We love the hospitality industry and would love to work with you!
The Fat Jewish once observed ... "a tattoo sleeve used to mean you were a biker who would kill, now it means you are a chef who makes a lovely pork belly with balsamic drizzle". As a fan of pork, chefs and tattoos ... our work is meant to inspire both chefs and foodies alike.

Once a year (on the fourth Saturday of August from 9am - 4pm) we do a Wabi-Sabi sale, here at the studio, where we sell what we consider seconds. Those pieces will have LARGE cracks at the bottom, on the side or will have a crack on the rim. Some pieces might be chipped, or have see-through cracks. Some will have runny glaze and other issues that you will see in person, knowing that those pieces might not last as long
or meant to be used as intended. We also sell plates that are overly warped and rejected by stores ... and cracks so big they can be transformed into Kintsugi pieces or used as a petite sculpture or objet d’art - if mounted properly.
This year, due to COVID-19 ... we might have to push the date ~ for everyone's safety ... !!!!
