The Designer Bowl was designed to stay in place, on a living room table, a console, a counter or in the kitchen [keep foods that do not need refrigeration such as onions, garlic, potatoes, yams, avocados, pomegranates] and so forth. You can use in the bathroom (put a few rocks, a loofa, a natural sponge and a natural bristle brush), or fill it with rolled up hand towels, display it on a living room table with beautiful objects, orchids or use as an accent piece (as is or mounted as a vertical sculpture. It can be used as a platter when you have a large gatherings, placed it in a closet with rolled socks, intimates or your favorite ties & pocket squares ... the possibilities are endless. Each piece is unique and might have some size / clay / glaze variations such as specs, beauty marks, little pin holes, tiny craters (like travertine or marble), some barely visible micro fissures (which do not affect the strength or durability of the piece), crackling glaze and some warping which is part of the artisanal nature of our process and part of the outcome.
