Regular price $150.00" Originally inspired by the soil patterns of the Mojave and other dry deserts/soils, this glaze is a metaphor: representing how meaningful moments and memories interact with one another to form the patchwork of our lives: each section a moment, each line a possibility" - Delphine Lippens"
The Plateau Bowl is a pair of urchin bowls that fit inside one another and mimic the double bubble as observed in Plateau's laws. " Plateau's laws describe the structure of soap films. These laws were formulated in the 19th century by the Belgian physicist and mathematician Joseph Plateau from his experimental observations. Many patterns in nature are based on foams obeying these laws " - via Wikipedia

Each piece is unique and might have some size / clay / glaze variations such as specs, beauty marks, little pin holes, tiny craters (like travertine or marble), some barely visible micro fissures (which do not affect the strength or durability of the piece), crackling glaze and some warping which is part of the artisanal nature of our process and part of the outcome.
Please contact us if you would like to order larger quantities. We might have them in various stages of production and available soon, we might need to glaze them, or we might be making a new batch … you never know!
